Overview

Composite termination is suitable for indoor and outdoor substations, suitable for busy neighborhoods, no explosion and splash hazards. Dry type (gel-filled) or oil filled type are both available.
 High mechanical strength, the minimum withstand values of cantilever load is 2kN.
 With a certain degree of explosion-proof, no explosion or crack risk.
 Pressure-tight, light weight and less sensitive for outer damage composite housing, convenient to transport, operate and install.
 Pre-fabricated and factory-tested silicone rubber stress cone.
 Silicone rubber rain sheds have excellent anti-pollution performance.
 Suitable for transformer substation both indoor and outdoor.
 Available apply for downtown area or coastal typhoon area.

Features of silicone gel
 Slicone gel instead of Si-oil or Polyisobutene to be filled inside the compsite housing having features below:
 A kind of cross interlink condensate from silicone rubber family with high insulation and excellent physicochemical properties.
 Soft, viscous and soakage material with reliable sticking and compatibility with the interfaces of silicone rubber stress cone, epoxy glass tubing and porcelain.
 No fluidness, no leakage.
 Unformed flexible material thus making compensation for volume change caused by temperature.
 Excellent electrical insulation, more reliable and better performance than silicone oil. A.C. Voltage Withstand and Impact Strength are higher than that of liquid filler. Its Dielectric loss and Dielectric Constant is more adaptable to high voltage. Dielectric strength: 23kV/mm; volume resistance(23°C): 1016Ωm; Dielectric constant (50Hz): 2.8.
•Low heat resistance modulus as coolant for termination, working temperature from -50~180°C.
